Eddie Bauer GIFs

Each quarter I created a set of branded GIFs to be uploaded to Giphy.com and accessed through various social media platforms and messaging apps. These GIFs are designed to elevate the portrayal of adventurous lifestyles in user stories and messages, offering creative tools for enhanced engagement and brand exposure. By seamlessly integrating these GIFs, followers can express their passion for adventure, fostering a sense of community and reinforcing the Eddie Bauer brand visually. This project has a cumulative 51.2 million views to date.

Challenges

  • 5-8 Quarterly GIFs meant a constricted timeframe, incorporating T-Shirt graphics cut down on time and offered a cohesive visual theme across the GIF collection with direct tie in to product.

  • Creating visually appealing animations while keeping file sizes small for easy sharing and loading.

  • Researching and developing unique, on brand and on trend designs.

My Approach

  • Research seasonal activities, catch-phrases, and featured Eddie Bauer products.

  • Develop 8-10 GIF ideas that included sketches and rough storyboarding to present to stakeholders.

  • Proceed to finalize the chosen illustrations and bring them to life through animation. This step involves careful attention to detail, ensuring that the animations effectively convey the desired message while adhering to brand mission.
