Potion Bottle Labels

Objective: Create decorative Halloween potion labels for glass kombucha jars. The label should include a made up brand logo and a made up potion or potion ingredient.

Coming up with the different brands was almost as fun as coming up with the potions and ingredients.

Mockups

I wanted to see the labels mocked up before I printed them and used Adobe Photoshop’s generative AI feature to create bottles with ingredients inside, and the magical apothecary for the background.

Mother’s Day Card and Pennant Flag

I created a custom card and matching pennant flag to celebrate Mother’s Day 2024.

Helpurr Leave Behind

A card I created for my cat so his hard work does not go unappreciated around the house. After designing the card in Poe’s (my cat) likeness in Adobe Illustrator, I used Adobe Photoshop’s generative AI feature to create a stack of business cards as a mockup. Then I used the same feature to create different instances of items that would usually fall victim to Poe’s generous helping nature.

Ghost of Christmas Present

I love playing video games with pixel art graphics (especially Stardew Valley!!!) and wanted to explore character design and animation through that same medium. Since I love all things spooky, but wanted to keep in line with the season, I made a little holiday spirit to haunt the festivities.

Original Concept

Artwork made in Illustrator. The original idea was for a ghost to be holding a present while floating. The idea evolved to add in two presents and a tree free-floating next to him. Ghosts don’t have hands!

First Draft Ghost Design

Playing around with the shape of the ghost, color palette, and what objects to include in the scene. I played around with different eye shapes as well, opting for more rounded with huge highlights to make him more cute and friendly looking. Only happy hauntings during Christmas!

Final Ghost Design

I re-designed the shape of the ghost so that he flared out at the bottom making it look more like a hanging sheet, I added in another present to give more visual interest, and made the typography much more visible, these were tweaked further in the final design.

Sporky’s Brand

One of my favorite things about 3D modeling is being able to create your own world, so in order to practice my 3D modeling skills using the software program Blender, I created a fake brand called Sporky’s Brand. It’s a brand created by an incomplete and evil AI that thinks it knows what products humans are into.
